My recent stay at D 28 in Brugge exceeded all my expectations in the most delightful ways. The hard-working owner not only welcomed me warmly upon a freezing 6am arrival from the bus station but also graciously allowed me to seek refuge inside until the cafés opened. The honor system for drinks and snacks in the fridge added a charming touch to the already cozy atmosphere. The central location was a dream, with an array of charming cafes and eateries just steps away, making exploration effortless. The comfortable bed, complimentary coffee/tea, and the attentive owner who personally handles the hotel's operations, all contributed to a truly homelike experience that was unparalleled in my travels. I was amazed by the level of hospitality and genuine care displayed by the staff, such as promptly returning a forgotten shower bag and going above and beyond to make my stay memorable.
